EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Vikings on Thursday announced the signing of rookie defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.

A seventh-round pick (220th overall) out of Northwestern, Odenigbo is the second member of the Vikings 11-player 2017 draft class to sign with the team. He signed hours after Rodney Adams became the first to put pen to paper.

Odenigbo finished his college career ranked second in school history with 23.5 sacks and was chosen First-Team All-Big Ten by conference coaches and Second-Team All-Big Ten in his senior season. Odenigbo led the Big Ten with 10 sacks in 2016, racking up 4.0 in one game against Iowa and 2.0 against Michigan State.
